Influenced by New York City and motivated by passion.

Hi there! I'm Tesera. 👋🏿

I first launched Actuallyitstesera back in 2017 as a predominately beauty based blog, writing pieces on makeup and skincare. While those are still major areas of interest for me (and topics you’ll still find on the blog!), I've expanded my catalog to include travel, lifestyle, DIY’s and planning.

Throughout the years, I’ve learned two things to be true: 1) a life of leisure, travel and luxury is great but can get expensive and overwhelming quite quickly 2) as long as you plan effectively and efficiently, it doesn’t have to be. In addition to the lifestyle content you’ll see from me as a New York City native, I share some of my best travel tips, DIY projects and planning resources for everyday life (like making your own DIY press-on nails so you can put those extra funds towards a trip!). I also create digital planners and other downloadable content to help people take ownership of their planning and lives.
